Welcome back, Denimheads.
Last time we opened the Marketplace. This time it's all about your own denim: where it's been, how hard you've worn it, and how you stack up against the rest of the community.
Plus a new version of the app on both stores. More on that at the bottom, and it's worth reading.
YOUR DENIM, BY THE NUMBERS
The one we've wanted to build since day one. Tap Insights on your profile.
Denim Year is your year in review, and you can flip back through every year you've been logging. Total wears, days worn, pieces added and what they cost, washes and soaks, medals earned. It picks out your MVP of the year and the piece you've most neglected, then breaks your wears down by type so you can finally settle whether you're a jeans person or secretly a jacket person.
Journey is the all-time view. Total wears, what your collection is worth, your average cost per wear, and growth charts you can scrub across 30 days, 6 months, a year or your entire history.
How you stack up shows where you land against the rest of the community on wears per wash, total wears and collection size. No names, no leaderboard pressure. Just where you sit.
EVERY ITEM HAS ITS OWN STATS PAGE
Open any item and tap the Insights icon:
Cost per wear - dropping every single time you wear it
Wears since your last wash - plus your all-time record
Longest streak - versus the streak you're on now
Wear cadence - how often it actually comes out of the wardrobe
Next medal - and exactly how many wears away it is
Rotation rank - where it sits against everything else you own
Never entered what you paid? There's an Add cost button right there. Watch the number fall from that day on.
BRAND & MODEL PAGES
Brand and model names are now tappable everywhere in the app.
Tap one and you get a proper page: every item in the community wearing it, every fade post tagged to it, a list of models to drill into, and what's currently for sale from that brand.
It's the fastest way we've built yet to answer "what does this pair actually look like after two years". These pages work on the web too, so you can share a link to a brand or model with anyone. A reminder to please add your old pairs as well as this helps grow the fade archive and helps fellow enthusiasts see what certain pairs look like over time.
A FASTER WAY TO POST
The + button in the feed header now opens a proper Create menu:
Add an item (with option to auto-post)
Create a post
Add to your wear tracker
Add photos to an existing item
Sell an item
Everything is one tap from the feed, and each option drops you exactly where you need to be. Add something to your tracker and you land on that item's tracker ready to log.
We've also added a confirmation when adding an item auto-posts it to your feed. It used to happen silently, which caught a few of you out. And if you try to share a piece you've already posted, we'll check first rather than quietly making a duplicate.
MARKETPLACE UPGRADES
The Marketplace has kept moving since launch:
Filter by brand - pick as many brands as you like
Filter by several countries at once - handy if you'll happily buy from anywhere in the EU, or want to stay domestic
Straight from a brand page - see something you like on a brand or model page and jump to everything that brand has for sale
Sold and Archived are now separate - with profit and loss on everything you've sold
A roomier filter sheet - with Apply and Save always in reach
SIGN IN WITH APPLE OR GOOGLE
One tap, no password to remember. Available on iPhone, Android and the web.
Already have an email account? Nothing changes, and if you sign in with Apple or Google using the same email address it links straight to the account you already have. No duplicates, no lost history.
VETERAN & LEGEND BADGES
Supporting members now wear their badge on their avatar everywhere in the app: the feed, comments, search, notifications and the Hall of Fades. Usernames are colour matched to the tier.
If you're a Veteran or a Legend, thank you. You're the reason this thing keeps getting built.
SHARE YOUR WARDROBE
There's a share button on your collection now. It gives you a link anyone can open, in the app or in a browser, showing off everything you own.
Private accounts stay completely private.
DENIMHEAD 1.1.0 IS OUT - PLEASE UPDATE
This one matters. There's a new version of the app on the App Store and Google Play, and it's the first full rebuild since launch.
HELP SHAPE DENIMHEAD
Insights exists because members asked for "longest streak" and "wears since last wash". Brand pages exist because you wanted somewhere to see what a model looks like faded before buying one.
If there's something you'd like to see, large or small, we genuinely want to hear about it.
Send it to:

As always, thank you for helping build something that belongs to the global denim community.
Until next time,
Wear. Log. Fade. Repeat.
