DENIMHEAD has always been about the people behind the fades. Until now you could follow, like and comment, but there was nowhere to just talk. That changes today.
Community chat
Tap CHAT in the row of pills at the top of your feed and you're in the general room, one live conversation shared by raw denim and heritage wear enthusiasts from all over the world. Ask for fit advice, talk soaks and washes, argue about sanforization, or just say what you're wearing today.
You'll get a notification when someone @mentions you or replies to you, and that's all. We don't notify you about every message in the room. You can turn chat notifications off any time in Settings → Preferences → Chat mentions and replies.
Direct messages
Every profile now has a MESSAGE button. Messages go straight to the other person's inbox, under the chat bubble icon at the top of your feed. Anyone who hasn't blocked you can message you, and you can block anyone from their profile or from a message.

House rules
The chat is public. Anyone can read it. To keep it a good place to be:
Be decent. Disagree about denim as much as you like, but no insults, harassment, bullying or personal attacks.
No hate. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and any other hate speech mean an instant removal.
Keep it clean. No sexual, violent or graphic content.
No spam or hard selling. Selling goes in the Marketplace. Don't flood the room or post the same message again and again. Brands and shops, join the conversation, but don't use it as an ad board.
Keep personal details private. Don't share anyone's address, phone number or other personal information, including your own, in the public room. Use direct messages for anything private.
No scams. Never pay anyone outside a deal you trust, and be wary of anyone pushing you off DENIMHEAD to complete a sale.
Every language is welcome. This is a global community.
Every message is checked automatically before it posts, and our team can remove messages and suspend accounts that break these rules or our Terms of Use.
