19OZ "SLAB" SELVEDGE DENIM, RIGID - NO WASH - The excessively 19oz Slub denim with distinct rugged texture This intentionally imperfection, slubby denim was woven by the varying thickness of the indigo yarn that creates a unique, distinctive texture running throughout the denim. Low tension weaving gives additional irregularity and non-uniformity. - Slub yarn is made by knotting and twisting yarn in different spots. The denim also has “Nep” that is known for a snowy look, making the denim even more distinguishable. Nep is characterized by the appearance of tiny white cotton fibers exposed from the surface of the denim. Slubby denim is noted for very unique vertical fading and it will be one of the most desirable features of a slubby denim. This awesome fading characteristics is called “Tate-ochi” in Japanese. Slub denim is also known for a softer feel.
