Fit

B-01 SLIM TAPERED is a slim fitting jean with a medium rise, snug thighs, and slim tapered legs. Don’t let the term ‘slim’ trick you; the fit has been developed to cater to a wide range of body types and focuses more on a ‘slim look’ rather than a ‘slim fit’. One of the aspects of the design that engages this, is its curved waistband. This creates a figure-hugging silhouette and super comfortable top block. The slim tapered legs might not be the best choice for someone with strong calves (we recommend a straight cut in that case), but other than that B-01 SLIM TAPERED is a versatile fit suitable for most people, in both smaller and bigger sizes.

Fabric

The name of 15.5 oz. RCI selvedge derives from its place of creation, Robeccheto con Iduno, a small village near Milan, Italy, and the hometown of Candiani Denim. It’s a classic red cast Italian denim woven with less tension creating an uneven structure that will become more apparent with wear and wash. The fabric has a high fading potential, typically found in these vintage-inspired denim constructions. 15.5 oz. RCI selvedge uses 100% organic cotton and is one of our core fabrics in the ‘European made’ line. It may be considered as the Italian counterpart of our 15.5 oz. Kojima selvedge, which shows a handful of similarities but also enough differences to co-exist.
