I've loved raw denim for as long as I can remember. My first pair were Levis Engineered Jeans - the ones with the twisted leg. I can still picture some of those crazy Levis adverts from back then.
What fascinates me about a pair of jeans is that they never really stand still. With every wear, every crease, every wash - they change. Denim is art in motion. A work that's never truly finished.
Over the years I started documenting the lives of my jeans the only way I could: spreadsheets and photos tucked away on my computer. Every wear logged. Every wash recorded. Every detail of how a pair evolved over time.
It worked... but spreadsheets don't capture the story. They don't show the slow, magical transformation that happens when you commit to a pair and let time do its thing.
Eventually I got tired of the spreadsheets, and my partner got tired of hearing me complain about them. So together, we built the platform I always wished existed.
DENIMHEAD is a place to track the life of your denim, document its journey, and share the evolution with others who get it - people who understand why you wear the same pair every day, why you wait months before that first wash, and why a good fade is something worth celebrating.
Whether you're 10 wears in or 1,000, this is your space.
Welcome to DENIMHEAD.
